Hi all. New to the forums here, although I’ve been playing the Halo series since the beginning. Rather than sit here and put a ton of uninteresting factoids about my xbox live career I’d like to take this time to ask a couple questions and throw out opinions.
Recently I left 2 games in a 24 hour period, both were just to join some friends through an invite. Roughly 20 minutes later, during a game of Dominion, I got a message stating I was banned for 60 minutes for quitting too many games. After researching I saw this is not typical. Has this happened to anyone else and is it a glitch? How many games are you allowed to leave during a 24 hour period before it issues this temporary ban?
This seems to be an interesting topic for me. I rarely leave games and I never leave though a rage quit. Usually I would leave if a friend invites me (which in retrospect I could just ask them to wait until my game is over) or there is a massive amount of teleportation and lag.
Another question is, is there really an XP cap per day?
If there is an XP cap of 100,000XP per day I would urge 343 to reconsider this decision. There are weekly and daily challenges which can happen to all be achieved on the same day. Hitting a 100,000XP cap in one day may sound like a lot on paper, but getting through challenges and increasing your rank is what drives the player to want to play more. IMO, an XP cap is a subtle way of penalizing a player for playing your game too much. Thoughts?
Thanks for reading and please formulate legitimate answers to my questions. I am here to learn and interact with other gamers, not deal with trolls.
Thanks!

. There’s a lot more rage quitting, I’ve noticed, on Gears of War 3 than on Halo 4.
