Thank you 343! You are killing off one of the features which I dislike about Infinity  No personal ordnance but we can have loadouts, sounds great, I know what I’m going to be voting for

Next step AC, PV and Jepack :3

Nice to see them trim something off of Infinity.

Wish we could also remove Secondary and Grenade selection. But that’ll probably have to be until the next Halo game.

Yahoo! One of my most hated aspects of halo 4 will not be on in this mode.I still hate that people will still be able to be the boltshot in this mode.

Agreed, the Boltshot is cheap, but at least people can’t call down Rocket Launchers to their feet

I’ll just post what I posted in the Infinity Slayer Feedback, which is positive:

> Team Slayer, huh? Interesting.

> I love Custom Loadouts. Which is the basically the reason why I love Infinity so much.

> Now, majority of the time when I have my Custom Loadouts, I’m not dealing with POs because most of the other gametypes/playlists that I play don’t have them.
>
> With Team Slayer, I get my Custom Loadouts, but no POs, so it becomes like the other gametypes/playlists that I really enjoy. Sure, RO is in some of them, but I won’t complain that RO isn’t in Team Slayer.
>
> POs can give one team an advantage while the other doesn’t get any (Sniper Rifles/Damage Boost versus Concussion Rifles/Needlers), while ROs makes the game random as some given times (wait, there’s an Incineration Cannon on this map!?). Don’t get me wrong, I do like the concept of POs in some gametypes (mostly Customs), but I usually don’t complain about these two because I rarely see POs, and ROs aren’t very often, so they don’t really overall affect me.

Sounds great :] One of my favourite aspects of Halo 4 (loadouts) and removal of one of my most disliked (PO) but PO is still there for people who want to use it

If they had gotten rid of armor abilities, then this would’ve been perfect. Armor abilities should be droppable equipment, not part of a loadout, in my opinion.

I like AA’s, it’s stuff like Camo, Jetpack and PV I don’t like

I’m glad POD’s are gone, but the Boltshot can be countered by using the Hardlight Shield pretty easily, give or take some timing issues depending on the lag of the game.

Just red the Bulletin. Sounds great!
One step closer to put my Halo 4 disk on again… hell with that one step I’m gonna check it out. I liked Legendary Slayer so this should be entertaining too. Oh, and the Legendary BR’s.

I’m excited about this. I like my loadout, forerunner stuff but I’m not a big fan of personal ordinance the way it is so this is great!

Double good news close to each other!

Perhaps with the variety of playlist no one will vote Infinity any more.

I’ve been asking for a slayer variant like this and I’m glad we’re finally getting it! Thx 343i!

They can’t limit what custom loadouts you choose. In order to get rid of Camo, PV, etc, they would have to make preset loadouts. Usually there aren’t enough options to make all of the combinations people like (LR, BR, Carbine, DMR, AR each would need hologram, thruster, HS). I think this is a pretty happy medium between Infinity and Slayer Pro especially since legendary BRs is an option. And radar should have been enabled from the start.

Going to have to go back to Infinity Slayer playlist for this. I stopped playing it when I got to 200 wins.

I’m actually somewhat annoyed by the removal of Pro, why must I be forced to spawn with a BR if people vote Legendary, I’m more of a Carbine user

This just ruined the post… Should’ve seen it coming, especially from you :stuck_out_tongue:

OT: I’m glad they are bringing back a basic Team Slayer variant, that is true to the typical Slayer, only it allows us to use what WE like. To me it SOUNDS like the best Slayer gametype in Matchmaking, however I have to play it for myself to actually give decent feedback on it.

I’m excited to be able to use the Carbine/SR combo without having to worry about someone getting a Rocket Launcher or something crazy (have to admit it’s funny when someone gets a gravity hammer) and I only get a Needler or something

This should be fun. Still using the Jet Pack though. Cant stop the Firebird, fools

Fair enough, I’m just glad we’re getting something like this gametype
