so i downloaded the update and went into a game of spartan ops to try out the new tactical packages that were added and the first thing that i noticed was that i could only see two out of the three that were supposed to be added survivor and recharge but when i tried to select either one it wouldn’t equip i tested this in war games and it seems to work just fine can anyone tell me if perhaps the third tac package will be added with the actual dlc or if anyone else is experiencing the same issue because say what you will but spartan ops is my favorite mode in halo 4 and i’d like to be able to test out the new content without worrying about my k/d thanks for the help guys see ya online
The third armour mod will be added when you download the DLC tomorrow.
Resistor, the third Armor Mod, will be added with tomorrow’s Champion’s Bundle DLC.
You have to buy Champions tomorrow to get it. But if you don’t it will be available in 2 weeks time with ricochet

Yup I think everyone’s having this problem, I cant add any of the 2 new armour mods when I modify my loud outs in Spartan ops. I hope they fix this problem, its a very stupid bug.

Hi, OmegaSkittles. The three new armor mods, along with Champions Bundle content, are not available in Spartan Ops or Campaign. I’ll keep my fingers crossed testing them out in matchmaking doesn’t hurt your K/D too much.

I am wondering this as well.
However, if I had to guess, I would guess that the armor and the weapon skins will still appear in Spartan Ops.

According to what she said, yes apparently so. "Along with with Champions bundle… Now that is very disappointing… So does that mean I can’t wear prefect while playing Spartan ops? If it was so, why wouldn’t they tell us before?

I think she was referring to the resistor mod which would be champions bundle exclusive for the next 2 weeks.

Yes, bs angel has stated that the new armor mods will not work in Spartan Ops, but there is still a possibility that the new weapon skins and armor sets will not work with Spartan Ops either. We have yet to hear from 343i about this.

That’s seriously disappointing, considering your multiplayer spartan is the same as your spartan ops one… Same with your multiplayer load outs, I don’t see why it wouldn’t carry over unless there is some technical limitation that doesn’t allow for “new” armor mods to be added to Spartan Ops…

I do not know much about the workings of video-games, but I imagine that the new armor mods being integrated into Spartan Ops would amount to a lot of work for 343i.
It is probably due to the same reason the weapon-tuning for Halo 4 did not affect the weapons in Spartan Ops and Campaign. Something to do with the game’s coding. I believe that Campaign and Spartan Ops are very “separate” from Infinity & multiplayer, as Theater mode does not support Campaign and Spartan Ops, either.
Anyways, I am most certainly not part of 343i and definitely not that much of a reliable information source, but that is what I think 
It’ll be a shame if the new armor and weapon skins can’t be used in SPOPs 
Maybe it has something to do with the coding? All the armours before the DLC were on disc, even if they weren’t un-lockable. This would mean that they were present when Spartan Ops was being coded. Since these new armour sets weren’t on the disc when the game shipped, I’m guessing that 343 would have to try and code them into Spartan Ops, which would take a long time and would basically have them have to take apart Spartan Ops, put the armour configurations in, and put Spartan Ops back together again.
Now, I’m no coding genius, so I’ve probably got this wrong; but if I am right, then that would be an awful amount of work to do. Not to mention having to download the ENTIRETY of Spartan Ops again to get the new version with the armour available, which would no doubt take an age to complete.
Like I said, I’m probably wrong about this, but it’s just my guess.
