New Tac Packages in Customs

Does anyone know if it will be made possible to put the new armor mods (survivor, resistor, recharge) into custom games game loadouts?

I’ve built an entire minigame based around the function of the survivor tactical package and I’m really bummed that it isn’t possible to assign it to players in game loadouts.

343, was this just a mistake or was it just not possible to do? Thanks for any response!

My thoughts is they should be since they are available for everyone to use. Not allowing this is dumb.

Does anyone know if 343 has any plans in on fixing the Spops issue since I know they’re aware of it? Maybe that would fix the customs issue as well.

You could set the gametype to Personal loadouts, and inform everyone to use the Survivor armor mod in at least one of their chosen loadouts. You could also use Base Player Traits to limit what the players can use, right down to their weaponry and grenade setup. This would force them to have certain weapons and armor abilities, while using their personal loadout with Survivor equipped.

Oh I Didn’t realize I could force people’s loadouts to change with player traits! Thanks so much for the info X 1,000,000!

It’s still not ideal, but it will have to work. And hey, if people don’t cooperate they just won’t be able to score poInts.

Exactly. So in the end it still becomes their loss.

I’m holding my breath here for 343i to fix this issue with not being able to use Champions DLC content in Spartan Ops. I wanted to play through all 50 episodes with the new Mark V and ODST armors, and now I can’t do that.

I was so excited for all the new content that came with this DLC, and it turns out I can’t even use it in my favorite game mode.

We can’t use the specialization mods either in custom games forced loadout mod selection.

Yeah that’s annoying too, but there’s a reason behind it since they must be earned. These new ones, though don’t even have to be unlocked.
