New style of "ranking" or showing off your abilities in game

I realize this wont be put in the game, I just want you guys to hear me out on this.

So my idea is that you would get nameplates from your stats. If you get lots of triple kills, you could get a nameplate for what you’ve acheived. For example I get 300 triple kills; therefore I would get a triple kill nameplate.

Critisism, concerns, other awesome ideas? Let me know.

Don’t see any harm in it good idea op

Thanks, I was thinking there could be other ones that are completly unrelated to the medals, for example, if you kill 10000 grunts, you get a little grunt face on your nameplate. Wouldn’t that just be the darndest thing ever?

theres one word for a nameplate i want…sentinel!

Obvious rip off of the cod challenge/title system but I would like it.

Getting a perfection medal next to my name for getting 100 perfections would be very neat.

Only thing that might be annoying is people try to claim you’re a booster for having 100 perfections or something.

Well that, and the obvious fanboys that are going to attack me because I linked it to CoD.

Games are ever changing, and people need to learn that because a game has similarities, doesnt exactly mean they’re ripping off eachother. I’d say it’s more constructive on what the other companies have offered. (I also did somewhat get the idea from CoD)

This is just like what gow3 has like. In gow3 I have the teamplayer title for getting a certain amount of assists. I would like this feature in halo 4 and it can be work pretty much the same as it does in gow3.

Could work in any FPS really. GoW matchmaking is pretty good, untill you can’t play on dedicated servers because you didn’t buy the DLC because you didn’t think it was worth it because Gnasher and Sawed-Off are the only guns used ever.

I hate when people say “nickig idea off of X game” That game should feel complimented that it has had ideas good enough for it’s population to want in another game, and so yeah I would love to see this in Halo 4

Seeing how the Bungie website has this feature, it would be incredibly easy to apply to the game.

Not bad.
