With the new Star Wars game coming out in a few days, how do you think it will effect Halo? We can all admit it was pretty good, and that Halo 5 has some competition, but when the game releases, how many people do you estimate will leave the Halo community and move to Star Wars? And what do you think 343 could do to combat this?

Of course many people will leave (not permanently) to Star Wars. Hell I’m going to be one of them since I love the Battlefront series. Doesn’t mean I won’t return to Halo though. Right now I’m playing Fallout 4 so much, but I’m still going to come back every now and then to Halo 5.
So I don’t think it will affect the community that much. Besides, Halo 5 has free DLC while Star Wars Battlefront doesn’t. So free DLC will probably tempt some players back when the time comes.

Fun? Yes. Good? Meh. It felt more like BF4 with a star wars skin than a true Battlefront game.
The new Battlefront is just as bad for lacking in content as Halo 5, what is going on with video games these days…

You should get EA access. its a pretty good deal and you get to play the newest games for a 10 hour trial period like Star Wars. Been playing it a bit and it certainly captures the atomsphere of star wars and is amazing to play but just lacks any real content. Halo will still be the competitive go to game for mutliplayer. but if you’re after something where you don’t have to think too much then Star Wars is a great game to pick up.
I know that i will be getting Star Wars Battlefront but i will only play it as a casual game with friends. I will continue to play halo 5 competitively for years!
