New spin on co-op multiplayer campaign?

Ok so we have all played 4 player co-op campaigns against AI. Lets spin this and replace all active campaign AI with 20-50 human players playing the roll of AI. I have not played a game yet that does this with big numbers of humans protraying the AI roll in multiplayer campaigns. Any thoughts?

No one would be able to move in that game because of all the lag. It’s a cool concept, but not possible with a console.

Another problem with this is that human players are much more skilled and intelligent than AI. If the campaign consisted of 4 humans fighting 50 humans, there’s absolutely no way that the 4 humans could win. Or even if they can win, they would respawn many many times and it just wouldn’t be fun.

Nah, let’s keep campaign and multiplayer the way they are in terms of players and all that.

The most players in CoOp I would say would have to be 6, any more than that and you’ll run into lag issues. 20 people, that’s a little over board, plus so far the max number of players per online match is 16 people.

This would be cool as a sort of Game type like Left for dead?
