What new species do you think will be in or want to see in Halo Infinite? So far, I heard that a new species that is a deer-like creature will be appearing in Halo Infinite.
Oh, you meant wildlife? In that case, a cameo of those weird bird-things from the background of Guardian would be interesting.
What @Catten Hart said. I thought you meant a sentient species xP For wildlife, I dunno, something “alien”. You mention ad we saw the deer, but since we can classify as such, it’s not “alien” enough, to me anyway, same for those Rhino’s.
I had the page be named ‘New Species’ because I wasn’t only referring to wildlife sentients but also other species.
Since Yonhet were given a shout out by Cortana at the end of H5, and since they got a little attention in Nightfall, I’d love to see them enter the main series. Since their society seems to be analogous to the Kig-Yar and their opportunism, perhaps some will align with Cortana while others will side with the UNSC/SOS, while others still will try to play both sides.
They also got some attention in Renegades, so their increased attention in the EU gives me hope that they will be making an appearance in Infinite
I’d really like a grim dark return of the Floods that could interact and infect the wildlife, that would be sick

I myself also thought of what new species to see in Halo Infinite. Here are some examples:
• Vulpard
• Thorn Beast
• A new covenant species that would take the place of the Elites for the enemy covenant side
• A new beast species that isn’t a covenant type species but are just as smart as the covenant and just like the enemy covenant side, they will be hostile to humans and elites
• Space Owl
• An elephant-like creature
• A lion-like creature
Another new species I would love to see in Halo Infinite is a reptilian creature (not the blind wolf but something different) which can be rideable by the Brutes since the Brutes would enjoy the nastiness of that reptilian species.

For example, the Brutes would enjoy seeing the teeth of these reptilian creatures and the way these creatures act because we all know that Brutes really love rough activities.

Speaking of dinosaurs, the blind wolves do sure resemble those and when you said big dinosaur-like things, are you referring to the thorn beasts which I did mentioned at one of my comments here?

Exactly what I thought and as I said, I did also had that suggestion as I also want to see the thorn beasts in Halo Infinite. If you look at my comment with examples of new species that should be in Halo Infinite, the thorn beast is on the list.

Those are blind wolves which are the creatures that resembles dinosaurs rather than wolves and I do remember these guys.

I wasn’t referring to them when I was mentioning a new non-covenant beast species but adding the Sharquoi would be a good idea. Now the Sharquoi and the Un-named non-covenant beast species I mentioned won’t be affiliated with same organization because the Sharquoi are Un-intelligent rare beasts (only become intelligent when controlled by some intelligent beings) and the Un-named non-covenant beast species are going to be quite intellingent but both of these beast species would be indeed allied with the enemy covenant side. Sharquoi would be rarely encountered while the Un-named new beast species would be commonly encountered. Perhaps the Brutes and the Un-named new beast species can both control some Sharquoi while the Forerunners control some other Sharquoi.
