New specialisations

About one sixth people 1 play with on Halo 4 have already finished the SR ranks, and now the CSR ranks are coming. This could be a good opportunity to add new specialisations to the game, and possibly increase the SR ranking system by another seven.
I would love to see some interesting ideas for some new specialisations, so I would like any ideas to be posted in the comments.

Here is my idea:

name: Duality

armour: Mk V (I know, it has nothing to do with dual wielding, but the game already has Mk VI)

weapon skin: Pistol

tactical package: - I can’t think of one

support upgrade: Dual/Wield - The ability to hold 2 secondary weapons at once, but also has slower reload animations when using this ability.

Please post your ideas below, and give your opinion on new specialisations.

Name: kinda cheesy
armour: The armour has to be the same name as the name of the specialization like every other specialization and has to be never before seen (unique) in Halo.
Weapon skin: We already have a weapon skin for the pistol in one of the specilizations
Tactical package: tactical packages are only for modifying your play style and not completely altering the game in a way such as duel wielding

All of the names are sort of cheesy in the original set, and I don’t really care about half of that stuff, so what if I chose the same armour that is already in one of the previous games. It’s my specialisation, so I can make the rules up. Also I know what the tactical package is, I just couldn’t think of one at that moment. But it was just an idea.

Honestly, each Specialization should’ve unlocked an alternate, unique skin for EVERY weapon. So we’d have like 8 colors for each weapon.

I don’t care for shiny/colored weapons

I agree, there should have been more skins for each weapon
I also agree that weapon skins aren’t really halo like, but you don’t have to use them.

They can’t add armor, weapon skins, and/or packages. At least not without having a massive download. However I do think they should raise the level cap.

I can’t think of one, but there needs to be a skin for the Storm Rifle. It’s the only weapon that doesn’t have one. (Other than the LightRifle’s LE Console skin.)

I love dual wielding but it wont work in this sandbox :confused:

I think we only need two new Specializations.

Assault
-Storm Rifle skin, Rush.
-Tactical Package, Control, which tightens the spread of any automatic weapon.

Demolition
-Light Rifle Skin, Lateral.
-Tactical Package, Caliber, which allows the player to do more damage to vehicles.

These should totally be in Halo 4.

Dissenter

Tactical package- Disruption-reduces aa usage of anybody around you including yourself

Green carbine
Support Upgrade-BIG POCKETS: Allows player to spawn with one plasma, frag and pulse.

LOL…I actually like those two.

I personally love these 2 ideas. They make sense as well.

I don’t care one way or the other, as I am at 48.
I did get the limited edition of the game on day 1, but the multiplayer was severely lacking, and I could never hit 50 because I just wasn’t enjoying the game.

I think they should work on fixing the damage done to the game first before adding bonus content though, and if they did add more specializations, I can’t see them being free.

Name: Medic(Keeping it Simple)

  • Armor, Most likely light armored.

  • Weapon Skin, AR: White with over lapping Red Stripes.

-Visor: Base- White, Tint-A medium Red.

-Tac/package/mod: Speeds up % that Regen Field recovers shielding. Shielding still goes up while under fire while within Bubble BUT at a slightly decreased rate(More than it’s base but enough that it may require two players or one good one to kill you.)

Maybe make it so it works more like the drop shield?

Artilleryman

Weapon skin: Storm Rifle GLNT (Glint - changes primary colour to silver)

Tac/Support mod: Trajectory
-Adds a visual path/indicator for where ballistic projectiles will land or ricochet. ie. grenades, fuel rod, sticky det
-Also provides greater warning to the player for incoming projectiles of this type. (maybe rockets and incineration cannon also)

Other silliness:

Weapon skin: Oddball DPPR (Dapper - adds a top hat to the player when carrying the ball.)

Name- ODST

Armor- ODST (Classic ODST set)

Visor- ODST (Blue/silver)

Skin- DMR URBN (Urban Camo)

Mod- Feet First (Choice of spawn point)

But to go ahead:

Name: Shadow lurker

Armor: Sliming. Helmet has what looks like eyes and they glow your secondary color.

Weapon skin: “Messenger” black assault rifle with crimson colored scythe running along either side.

Armor ability: Non-Promethian vision:

-Provides a form of i.r. vision that appears in your preferred shade of lavender.
-Rather than a light on the side of the helmet, your spartan puts on a pair of aviator sunglasses.
-This ability has no timer or charge loss. Instead, after 5 seconds of continuous use, the user is chased down by a small nyan cat until they are able turn it off (in order to turn it off, you must be out of nyan cat’s sight). If the nyan cat catches you, your spartan’s armor will shine with an animated flow of rainbow coloring all over his body, leaving you an exposed to sniper fire.
