I’d go for a continuous beam that does more damage the longer it’s held down, reaching Max damage after 2 secs.

You don’t have to charge a binary rifle, and binary rifles do not have the same vehicle damaging potential. They also have pre-fire targeting lasers when scoped, so they are quite different.

It’s like a Gauss hog except lower rate of fire but much more powerful and larger AoE
I think it should be a constant beam that lower the charge the more it’s held
