New solution for AA's

First off I know they are not in halo 5 guardians but that’s why I’m posting this, maybe to see if people like this idea.

If AA’s returned then they would need a few tweaks before implementing them.

1st. They aren’t in every game type. Only in dedicated casual playlist.

2nd. They go back to reach styles of loadouts (if they return) I.e. Same weapons but different abilities.

3rd. They aren’t unlimited use. They get one use and then it’s gone, to make this different then equipment you still spawn with it and everytime you die you get to use it again.

4th. No map/game breaking ones return. (Camo, jetpack, pv, armor lock, etc.) in my opinion auto sentry, hard light shield, hologram, thruster pack, regen are all okay.

5th. No more “care packages of weapons” instead. The ability slowly starts coming back and becoming usuable the better you do in the game. Ex. If you already used it and then go on a killing spree. It gives you another use. But not so often that you get to use it more then 2 or 3 times in a single life. (For a normal average player) if a player is on like a 25 kill streak then obviously allow more used.

6th. Keep out of competitive multiplayer. Leave it in a casual playlist.

7th add properties to each ability. Make it so you can change the use and times that it last fur. Also how easy it is to get it back.

8th Bring back equipment for use when you run out of the ability. But keep it the same map pick up from halo 3.

If this was implemented correctly. I could see this working.

Thoughts?

Well, for one, even Halo 4’s armor abilities weren’t in every gametype.

Which ones aren’t going to be considered map-breaking? I can only think of Autosentry, but even then…

And if you can one use and it’s gone, why have it at all…? Once again, maybe Autosentry, but that’s all I can think of. This is just me, though…

And keeping it out of competitive MP…? So that just leaves Firefight and SpOps, right?

How about if they do return, just have them as map pick-ups?

Why not make them Equipment if they are single use?

I added the ones that should stay in, in my first post. And they aren’t just equipment because you spawn with it and you can earn multiple uses.

Players can spawn with Equipment.

Why do you think it is a good idea to allow players to spawn with Equipment, and recharge it through kills, instead of picking up new Equipment from off the map?

yes bring the equipments back such as the tripp mine so i can overload the map to take out the guardians and return to battlefield countdown.

Solution to AA’s - remove loadouts. How easy was that?

Too late now anyway. They’re gone.

Well mostly AA’s are good idea. They were just done badly.

So to fix the constant spam of them. You remove the unlimited use.

They aren’t just equipment, it’s an ability that makes you earn it by doing good. That way the skilled players don’t face a player who is not as good and loose due to spam of the ability. You get one use per life unless you do good.

Just because it’s one use doesn’t mean it’s equipment. You still spawn with it. You don’t loose it permantly. You can have it back if you do good. This way it also rewards players without throwing a rocket launcher in the mix to change the tides of the game. (Halo 4’s infinity mode)

The reason I’m bring this up is because getting rid of AA’s kills a lot of really fun and cool custom game maps. I don’t think it was smart to just get scrap it all together. That why I suggested thus solution,

Armour Abilities don’t have a place in Halo anymore, they tried and failed, twice.

I think it’s good that 343i have confirmed early on that armour abilities won’t be included in 5.

I think you all need to let it go…
