I feel Halo Wars 2 could do with more skulls. They could be hidden thought current and future maps as well as the new campaign missions.
Here are my suggestions:
- The all Powerful- All players start the game with all their leader powers unlocked.
- Supercharged- Doubles the effects of all selected skulls.
- Mythic- Enemy A.I have double health.
- Flood- When any organic unit dies it turns into a Flood combat form that attacks everyone.
- Look Daddy- When Grunts die their methane tank always shoots off.
- Cowbell- Explosion physics are magnified.
- Fog- No mini map.
- You need a weapon?- Grants the player the ability to launch a nuke or plasma bombardment every 15mins.
- Health kit- All player units and buildings regain health over time.
- IWHBYD- Rare combat dialog becomes more common.
Some of these skulls I’ve made up and others are what I feel needs to be added from other halo games. Share your thoughts and any you’d like to see added.
While more skulls would be nice, I’d rather they make the current ones only work on human players, and not affect AI. They’re kinda pointless right now, because of that.
I always wondered what they meant when they say ‘destruction physics magnified.’ Does that mean the explosions are bigger? Do they just look bigger, or better? Are they more effective than regular explosions? I’m talking about the Cowbell skull from HW1, by the way, and as far as I know, units aren’t being launched great distances by explosions in that game, so please tell me what difference it makes!

I assume its the same as normal halo so explosions would have a larger radius and debris is flung further which is rather humourous. What the exact percentage is only the games developers would know that.

It was 2x as much.
If they do add some more skulls they should add them as they add future story dlc. I’ll two birds with one stone we get some story continuation and some skulls

That’s what I was thinking I also thought they could do what they did in halo 3
