New SKULL ideas!

I have another thread I started earlier that was more of a plea to bring back the Sputnik/Bandana skulls as options in Halo 4, but I want this thread’s sole purpose to be a collection of ideas for NEW SKULLS, not “I want this skull back”. You can, however, mention skulls that were supposed to be in a game that weren’t (i.e. the “Pew Pew” Skull I mention below, that was mentioned in my other thread).

Here are my suggestions, and I’ll update the list below with other people’s suggestions to keep the original post as informational as possible, just in case this thread gets too large (yeah right). Here goes:

MY SUGGESTIONS

Super Soldier: meleeing enemies results in sending them flying.

Bombastic: Enemies explode if you headshot them (sort of like Grunt Funeral, only there would be no 1 or 2 second lag between the enemy dying and the explosion; also, it would work for ALL enemies, not just grunts, and would not cause chain-reactions since it’s a headshot-only reward).

Pint-Sized: All character/enemy models are 1/2 original size, jump height adjusted to prevent being unable to get to/access certain areas of the campaign (i.e. it wouldn’t break the game). Or, to make it more interesting, leave Chief the same size (so it doesn’t drastically affect cutscenes), and make the enemies 1/2 size. It would also pose an interesting challenge, as not only would enemies be harder to hit, but they’d be more difficult to headshot.

Incendiary: Bullets cause mini-explosions & fire upon impact (kind of like firing firecrackers/m80s as bullets). Weapons would cause the same damage as normal, but stuns enemies and creates cool fire/mini-explosion effect. Sort of like how a “Brute Shot” would push an enemy back some when you hit them with it, this would have a similar but much more mild effect, and it would look really cool as well.

Resurrection: When you die, you start off with the weapons & ammo you had when you died. This could be both beneficial AND detrimental, depending on the situation. It would be awesome if you just got Rocket Launcher and then died (because you’d start off the last checkpoint with Rocket Launcher AND still be able to pick up the Rocket Launcher, or ammo in this case, later on in the mission where you just got it from), but it would suck if you had, say, “Iron” on and were out of ammo & then died, because you’d start back at the beginning on the mission with NO ammo whatsoever. This would suck even more if “Famine” was also on.

Life-Support: Your shield slowly decays, but killing enemies revives it. This would work similar to the “Black Eye” skull, and would actually work in conjunction: if you have both skulls on, your shields would slowly drain, but killing an enemy recharges 10% or 20% of your shields, and meleeing one would recharge them fully. Just a note: it wouldn’t drain your shields until you die, just until they’re gone, and then it would stop until you somehow regain your shields back.

Feather: Enemy attacks cause you to be propelled in whichever direction their attack is coming from. Example: you’re running straight, and an enemy to your right is shooting you from a distance, you’d be pushed to the left slightly along the path of the bullets were going, kind of like how a feather is affected by the slightest breeze.

Deadshot: All enemies are upgraded to precision weapons. Enemies who already have precision weapons are upgraded to sniper-level weapons.

Kamikaze: All grunts will immediately go suicidal with sticky grenades upon seeing you, Covenant Banshee’s berserk/fly low and try to splatter, all Promethean enemies explode like a grenade in proximity to you (5, maybe 10 feet, making it so that you can’t just go up to one and run away, making them kill themselves and not you).

SUGGESTIONS FROM OTHER USERS/PLACES

Pew Pew!: Like 343i mentioned in one of their commentary videos (someone just made a thread about this, too), this would simply replace weapon/vehicle sounds with vocal sounds generated by staff members. Link: “Pew Pew” Skull

Old School: All sound effects are replaced with 8-bit sounds.

If you already have a thread relating to skulls, why didnt you post this there? Or in this thread?

> If you already have a thread relating to skulls, why didnt you post this there? Or in this thread?

If you read the entire first portion of this thread, you’d know why. And I didn’t SEE the other thread. Who cares? It’s one more thread. Better than another “ZOMG CTF IS RUINED!” thread.

Besides, the other “create your own skull” thread is more of a comical type nature (even says so in the OP), mine is more geared toward actual gameplay-modifying skulls, with the odd exception here and there.

UPDATED!

I really wanna collect all the good ideas and have them in one post, right at the top.

I use to be an adventurer like you…: this skull causes you to take double damage when hit in the knees.

this…IS…SPARTA???: this is sparta is said when ever performing an assasination.

Rainbow: the spartan laser now fires a rainbow laser of pure love.

Broken: all weapons are rendered useless, the player is limited to only using melee and grenades.

Caboose: all Allied AI will try to passively betray you.

Turbocharged: all UNSC vehicles accelerate faster and have a higher top speed. Be prepared to unleash your inner Sunday Driver.

NUC: all frag grenades do the same damage as a rocket, AOE is (x2).

Yes these are good ideas, I hope ther will be alot new skulls in halo 4

I definitely hope there are more than just 12 or 13. I’m hoping for at least 15 or 16.
