Who else is happy that even though the game is getting a little old, that they still update it and add new stuff occasionally to show they care. I really like what their doing here too, I want to work for skins and armor. Shows people’s skills and dedication.
Not for sure, but I think they stopped doing that because it encouraged boosting. Or some found it unnecessary, maybe even a bit tedious. Don’t know, but I personally never cared for doing match made commendations to earn an aesthetic piece that just looked decent.
just a quick calc from my stats. I played 11 days of arena with just over 1000 wins. I need to play another 6+ days for the last skin. don’t know if that is such a big motivator

Not to stat flame you, but your win percentage is about 45%. Play with a team in WZA or SWAT and you’ll get wins really fast.
Quick Calc with a good team:
WZ game avg is ~7 mins, win: 80% means you need 88hrs
SWAT game avg is ~5 mins, win 80% means you need 63hrs
So it’s not too bad if you win a lot of games fast. I got 4 wins in 20 mins of WZA last night (one attacking we got 3:06), it’s doable.
I’m glad they added new commendation skins and I hope they add even more for some of the other weapons
Well I’m happy that they are still adding small things to the game, that’s pretty cool. But no matter how many hours of games I play, or how many tips and tricks videos I watch or how much I focus and actually try… I’m that player that has such a low win percentage in Warzone and it’s even worse in Arena that I’ll never get these new additions or any others as they drop. So that kinda bums me out and I’m already feeling pretty deflated with my gameplay experience.
I really feel like someone at 343i has modded my accounts values so that I can’t be a successful player, but that’s just from my tinfoil hat being on too tight and there not being a customer service contact page to ask them if there’s something wrong with my account.
But overall, yeah that’s cool to have new achievements to work for. I’m still working through the original achievements that the game launched with,
The skins I want the most though, and I’ve got the req points saved up and put aside for are the country flag skins that they promised !! I really want that Canadian Red and White Maple leaf skin on my weapons. Really not sure why they haven’t released them. More bummed out 
Halo just basically bums me out. There needs to be a support group… Spartans Anonymous , LOL !!
Easy 7 to 10 days for new skins i think its very do able and im happy they are finaly doing something new maps new skins whats next

I’m am definitely happy about this but a bit salty as I am wondering why this wasn’t a thing in the first place unlocking stuff through commidations ( no I don’t count emblems)
Gives me a reason to go back to matchmaking lol. The Black one looks the best in my opinion.

I was already grinding wins to get my W/L back up past 50.0, so now I have a reason to do it besides a number.
I hadn’t played H5 in months, but the new skins, along with my commendations reverting to 99% from 100%, made me get back into it. As far as I’m concerned, they should slowly release more cosmetics like this until Infinite releases just to keep people interested in H5.

I haven’t played WZA in ages since I can’t seem to get games. I also play 95% of my games solo so teaming with mics is out, but thats fine.
I am up to 34 wins from this weekend so not too bad, it was a mixture of WZ and arena… (no marines in arena - ha ha)

Eh, kinda cool but I am having to much fun in MCC now so this isn’t enough to bring me back to H5. A bit to late to finally introduce individual earned cosmetics, but I guess better late than never… Maybe Halo infinite will have a balance of both since 343 is finally learning that or at least finally willing to have player earned stuff that is better than a lame emblem.
I’m super happy about this direction that 343 seems to be taking. Cosmetic pieces that you actually earn are infinitely better than cosmetics you just get randomly out of a req pack. With req packs you end up just not caring about what you get because there is so much of it and you don’t really earn it.
