New skin suggestions

This thread is for general discussion on future skins we’d like to see in Halo 5. Hopefully someone at 343 will see these (^^)

I was thinking there should be a wolf skin for the AR like there is for the Magnum. It seems only fitting they should have that combo, I’d also like to see some chrome skins similar to the color on the Whispered Truth. Some purple skins, a skin with the Legendary icon would also be sick.

What do you guys think ? I’d be very interested in hearing your suggestions and ideas

I just remembered a skin I’ve wanted to see for a long long time: a universe skin. Could basically take an image of a galaxy or other various cosmic bodies slap it on an AR, Magnum, etc etc and bam ! People will go crazy for em.

In my opinion it would be interesting to have weapon skins that are not just images. By this I mean 3d details. Such as nature skin with grass and maybe some wood on the weapon. There could be promethian inspired one or even an animal one wth bone and fur/skin, all with 3d details.

I’d like some all black skins of the AR, DMR, BR and SMG.

We could also use this for armour skins.

I believe the Osiris AR skin has some 3D elements on it. There’s some raised hexagonal shapes but I like your idea a lot more :smiley:

Animated skins like those in Gears of War would be kinda cool.

I’d also love to see a tiger striped orange and black skin personally :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah Covie/Promethean seems like it’d be very likely.

Sooo… like an armor effect that is a skin? I like it! :smiley: Heart attack skin with flying hearts on the gun AND that makes hearts come from the gun please!

I’d like a skin that just cycles through all the skins you have every time you switch to the weapon or get a kill

How about Ship themed skins? Might be more suitable just for the AR because of the size, but I would love an old school Pelican skin.

Or maybe a Long/Shortsword doing a bombing run. Again, that might be more suitable for an epic painting on the side of a van.

You know the Trippy Lancer from Gears 4? Enough said

HCS Skins for DMR and SMG (especially SMG).

Shotgun skins (it is the starting weapon in Breakout and Infection… But not going to happen).

A skin modelled after the tier 3 UNSC weapons (Echidna, The Answer, High Five, Arrow of Time, SPNKr EX, Arclight, etc.). I would LOVE these.

That’s a pretty good idea. I like to match my weapons to my color scheme.

As someone above said, id love a “Old AR skin”. Replace the plastic bits with wood and make the metal worn. 26th century Kalashnikov.

I would like a skin template kind of like emblems where you can change the colors to whatever you like.
