I created a new controller setting for myself and named it " No Jets ".
This controller setting has everything I need, but the thruster pack because I hate it the thruster pack.
Thruster pack has made this game a bit yoinking stupid.
When I turned off the thruster pack I swear to the Halo Gods that Halo almost felt like itself again.

yea hes not as evasive as everyone else makes for an easy perfect kill but hey everyone has their own way of playing i wish i could turn off hover because i like to be able to fall while im aiming sometimes. i also dont play with vibrations.
I haven’t found any disadvantage. If anyone wanted to try for themselves they can, I guess.
I haven’t had a problem being killed perfectly very much. I feel as if this controller setting allows me to set up so much better.
It’s probably the most useful AA. You’re just limiting your gameplay if you don’t use it

Good on you for finding a setting that works for you…everyone has their own play styles. I can’t see how it wouldn’t be a disadvantage, but to each his own.

You know you actually can turn off hover, in the settings just set “Auto Stabilise” to off and you’re good to go.

No op doesnt want to use thrusters (side to side front and back thrust.)
Zero mike revealed how to not float when you jump then zoom.
I have gotten way to used to using evade lol.

There is a setting to disable hover. It makes it so that you have to press a button (specific to your control scheme) while you are in the air and aiming in order to activate the hover.

I’m just saying I’ve been winning a lot with this setting. I just ranked 1800 in Onyx for FFA!
It may be a disadvantage to some, but the less abilities I have than others helps me find stronger points.
It’s almost like turning on a skull in the campaign.
It may make it harder, for some, at first, but it is going to be a very big training phase that will outnumber everyone else
because I will know how to beat new school with old school.

Are you kidding? You can turn that off in the settings. (Auto stabilize)
