My dream situation for Halo 5 is Chief and Lasky steal a UNSC Corvette or Prowler (bonus points if it ends up being the Port Stanley, paybacks a -blam- ain’t it Osman?) and they bring along the original Buck 6 (Buck, Rookie, Micky, Romeo, Dutch, Dare), and the new Halsey/Cortana mix, and go on the run from the UNSC.
Oh, and MSGT. Stacker becomes the Johnson replacement. And we alternate between Chief, Rookie, and Buck.
| Greetings!
I myself am expecting another split campaign story like in Halo 2.
So for John’s side of the story I’d like to see Blue Team return as playable partners:
First player: John-117
Second player: Frederic-104
Third player: Kelly-087
Fourth player: Linda-058
Obviously all the people listed would have their trademarked, but upgraded, armor sets and weapons. I’d also like to see references to the other known/active members of Blue team and Covenant-Seperatists via terminals, audio logs/transmissions. |
I actually love the thought of playing as a renegade chief. Kudos for the idea of them running from the UNSC.
However, what I believe we are seeing form is the upcoming of Spartan Thorne. It would make all the sense in the world for him to be the predecessor to John, and having John be a mentor would be such a cool experience. It could actually make the climax of the series that much more connected, and almost have that whole star wars losing-your-mentor to-the-ultimate-evil-and destroying-said-ultimate-evil-for-retribution feel.
You know, it would be amazing if the Spartan, you use in Spartan Ops, becomes the protagonist in the next title. Like you customized Noble Six, but only this one you have the choice to be a silent character, or if you have a headset or kinect, you can speak into it, like in CEA. Wouldn’t that be cool.
