So SBMM is getting revamped or something like that. Thoughts? Pros / Cons? Looks like it will be CSR matchmaking so I think it will be a lot more balanced and more of what It should have been,

It’s not really an SBMM change, they just change the matchups you get to CSR instead of MMR. Which is weird because I’m pretty sure that’s how most ranked games do it anyway.
In Infinite you get ranked vs higher ranked enemies because the game thinks you should be around that rank then punishes you for losing against them.
I’m pretty sure most games just match you based on your rank, so most games would give you platinums to play against if you’re platinum. However if your mmr states you’re better than platinum then winning that game rewards you with a higher amount of ranked points to get you out of that rank and gives you a smaller amount of lost points if you lose so you don’t just pubstomp every ranked game.
This only affects ranked and not social though afaik.
