New req packs

Hi my real gamer tag is SuperNinja12003 and here is my idea

you make new req packs that let some only contain amour like customization peaces (amour, visors emblems)

Other packs are only for weapons that are one use.

another is only for vehicles.

and another is for permanent unlocks like other BR’s.

the price of each is the same as Gold silver and Bronze with gold at 10,000 giving a lot of uncommon to legendary that kind of thing because I am tired of getting a gold req and not getting armour

please add my idea it would be a huge help and please if you add this idea do not make the packs only bought with real money thanks it would help
and if some one from 343 is reading this
hi please can you send me a code for the MARK IV GEN1 amour and helmet please you do not have to but please do send me a code for it
Have a good day

I would laugh so hard if they actually did that

But what do you think of my idea

The people who -Yoink- on the REQ system for being random would then ramble on about how the REQ system allows you to pay straight up front for weapons.

Personally there are 2 things that irk me about the Req system:

Microtransactions: These, these are the virus that kills any popular game that gets infected with them. Look at Halo CE through MCC, they didn’t use Microtransactions, they used fairly price dlc map packs, and that DID work, people who complain about not having the 5-15 dollars to spend on the packs were just lazy, there are many ways to earn money, even for kids, mow a lawn, clean your room, clean your bathrooms (if you are a kid still stuck with your parents), hell maybe just sell something you don’t use anymore, either way it didn’t split the community, the community split itself.

RNG Armor Unlocks: Under no circumstance is this an ok thing to do with a Halo title, UNLESS the armor is unlocked through achievements. I dunno about you, but grinding seems to be the ONLY reason people play H5 anymore, to complete the armory, and max out their SR, then odds are they’ll go back to MCC or Reach, never to return. I stick around for a few reasons, one of which is the Forge to this day blows my mind. Sure it’s annoying, and just as buggy as the rest of the game, but with prefabs added, so many possibilities, for Forgers such as myself. But I’m getting off track. Long story short, I wanna pick and choose what armor I unlock, not roll the dice for a lame resking that doesn’t even look cooler than the original.

Your idea of separating packs into “single use” and “permanent unlock” packs? Well it would certainly cut down on the grind, if the permanent unlock packs gave more than two…

No. Map packs did not work. Look at Halo 3 on the 360. Most of the playlists are DLC locked, and the people who do have them, don’t choose to play them because of the low population. It’s a problem with all the Halo’s with DLC, the DLC hardly gets used.

There should be both RNG and achievement unlocks.

No, RNG unlocks NEVER belonged in Halo and they still don’t.

I agree… the map packs weren’t working especially as Halo population dropped. They simply do need to just make more cosmetics unlocked through game play.

I belive that we need more ReQ Packs and DLC

I honestly just wish you could buy helmets/armour/skins etc with REQ points or, if you were really desperate, real money.

If they made it like halo reach with credits it would be wonderful that game actually worked.

The are two problems with this:

  1. It makes ‘hard to get reqs’ much easier to get and reduces their value.
  2. Players that have either completed the collection or have almost completed the collection will not be happy about new players abilities to easily acquire stuff that took them ages to get hold of. 343 already made a similar mistake with Month of Mythic. And we all know how that went.

Having said this, I would have loved a system like this earlier on in the game. I wished for it but it never so I worked through to get the stuff I wanted through the current system. I know it seems a bit tough by its something we all just have to deal with. Its way too late in the game to introduce packs like that now without causing uproar. >>IMO<<.

I agree as well. As much as the RNG nature of the REQ system is annoying, I have to say that it’s nice to have all DLC be free. Back in the days of Halo 3 (and Reach), I bought all of the DLC as it came out. While we could play the maps in the dedicated DLC playlists, it was a borderline miracle to see those maps in normal playlists, at least until ODST came out.

At least, this way, the community isn’t split and we can all play every map. It may not be perfect, but the REQ system is a good step forward from the old DLC system.

This would ruin the whole REQ system. The point of it is not to know whether you will get a weapon or customization option.

I’ve wanted this since the game came out. This way it’s still random but you can focus on the category that you care about at least. Hopefully they implement it in H6 at least if it’ll use the same req system. Also it’d be nice if the single use reqs you get from a pack actually reflected the rarity of the pack. When I open silvers I don’t want common, when I open golds I don’t want uncommon.

You are supposed to use your real Gamertag here. I hope you don’t get banned.
