I’m getting closer to releasing the first episode of my latest machinima series (although it will probably be another month or so). I thought I’d release a draft of the opening title sequence so that I could get some viewer feedback.

Could you give us like a rough overview (No spoilers please) of what this story will be about??? But besides that, it looks really good and I’ll be looking forward to watching this when it comes out.

“The city of New Alexandria (working name) is a corrupt police state, ruled by the Commissioner of Police. The mafia and the police fight for control of the city. Walter Gittes, a Detective for the police force knows this all too well and thinks he can change the city for the better, without compromising his morals. One day, a mysterious gunman begins indiscriminately murdering police officers and the Detective is put on the case. Why does this man never harm the detective? Will this Serial Killer change the city for the better? What will the Detective do when he realises his idealistic notions crumble in the face of a corrupt world? Who is the officer known only as FOXTROT, and what does he have to do with the Serial Killer?”
The story is told from the perspectives of both the detective and the serial killer.
I liked it.I want to know how you made the names spin like that. If you included a hint more of story to the trailer you wouldnt have to explane it every time.

The names I made spin using After Effects and just made the text and graphic a 3D layer and rotated them on the Y axis.
Oh and this isn’t a trailer, it’s the opening title sequence.
