New reach firefight map

so i was just thinking about this while i was at work. i’m a big time firefight fan, especially for reach. wouldn’t it be cool if we got the lone wolf missions map as a firefight map? i’m sure this has been thought of before, but with all that 343 has done with the mcc the last few years, it would be awesome to see this happen

I’ve also thought it was little odd lonewolf wasn’t a firefight map. It’s the most firefight like location in the whole campaign. I’m sure there is a reason why Bungie choose to exclude.

Honestly this is one of my biggest asks for Reach Firefight, alongside restoring Drones and the ability to assassinate ODST’s as an Elite.

I would be fine with adding lonewolf in. It is a very big map though I’m not sure how it would play in the standard FF modes

Yeah, one element that Firefight always features are safe zones. Every Firefight map features a place to hide, let your shields recharge, spawn safely, but Lone Wolf explicitly doesn’t have this with a lot of exposed areas and locations Elites could invade in.

But fixing this would only take a few Forge props. It’d also be sick with a vehicle considering, as you’ve mentioned, its size.

yeah, i didn’t consider a safe zone. to your point, making a safe zone with some forge items would be a solid approach to fixing this issue.

as far as vehicles are considered, i think ghosts and/or warthogs would fit nicely. maybe a wraith too, since wraiths are already in the level

Don’t get your hopes up for any firefight mode in Halo Infinite.
The game is strictly focus on HCS content. They may put one in but it’s going to be pf low quality barely any effort put into it. But you know they will be putting in alot of effort into anything HCS related.

Um… This has nothing to do with Halo: Infinite.

Honestly, I’m all for new content. Having new maps, no matter the mode, is always a win in my book. Lone Wolf was practically made for Firefight given your only objective is to survive.

I would rather see more H2 maps remastered for H2A, FFA, 4v4 and BTB. That is long over due. H2A has been ignored way to long. We are getting flood firefight at some point so they should give some content to a different title.

While I agree H2A needs love, this is a bit off topic. But in terms of maps, I think that one firefight map in Reach would be easier than 2 maps for H2A. So it would be a matter of whether Reach or H2A should have more. But H2A could probably use some of the Halo 4 maps, which would clear up some of the neglect in H2A

I think some more firefight maps would be good though. I think the canyon area with the brutes on Pillar of Autumn would be good, or even an aerial dogfight map

the space dogfight in the campaign was amazing! i know we’ll never get something like that for reach multiplayer, but maybe a form of dogfighting can be made on forge world

If we got the option to disable all barriers in Halo Reach you could EASILY make a sabre dogfight map.

What is one thing that you’d like to see part of the map?

i was thinking just a recreation of the map. so nothing new. maybe add some variety to the enemy’s types, like brutes and drones

I’ve always thought turning Lone Wolf into a FF map would be an awesome idea. Doubt it would be terribly difficult on the dev side either.
