it wont settle for the people that got placed in diamond and onyx that should be in bronze/silver since they cant rank down. but it will settle for every1 else eventually.

Iâm diamond in arena slayer and every game is very lopsided, and I myself am sitting on the bottom. Iâm ranked above my skill.
On the other hand the Iâm silver on the randomized game type arena playlist and games are still always lopsided, but Iâm not on the bottom!
I think the ranking system should be solely based on individual performanceâŚhowever, then you run the risk of a âlone wolfâ mindset

I feel like they shouldâve just put the ranking system on just how you play and not how your whole team does. I feel like i should be in platinum and not silver in breakout. I hate that Iâm silver because of bad teammates. All Iâm saying is if I go 10 and 3 in breakout but my teammates die all the time I should not face the consequences of bad teammates.
agree 100% some games I do so horribly and all I can do is apologize. Feels like I was placed too high in the ranking system to be effective.

That was an awful system. You ranked up based on how much you played, not skill.
I miss halo 3 ranking system. I feel it was the best. But skill should be a factor they should rank people based on their perfoarmance not just team play
Also i hate carring my team then losing.
I like the ranking system, I liked it in other halo games and I still like it now

The ranking system is fine overall, they just need to fix leavers and what not.
Assuming youâre not at the rank youre supposed to be, your win rate should be above 50% (because that would mean that your enemy team will have 4 players below your skill rank, and your team will have 3 players below your skill rank+you who is better than the other people meaning your chance to win should be higher on average). The further from your skill range you are the higher/lower your win/lose rate is.
If you arent in the right bracket, eventually you will lose/win your way to it.
I personally liked Halo 3âs ranking system the best.
You were given a rank based on your skill, than then the grade of your rank was determined by your exp.
Howeve, i donât mind the one in Halo 5, at least it has a skill rank system and not just the CSR.
The problem is that there are too many ranking systems, just give me my skill rank. Why do they have to change the ranking system? It was great in h2 and 3. I dont want to tell someone that I am a platinum one 33 in team arena.
I will say my matches in h5 have been pretty even, but I liked the one simple number based on wins better still.
I think it should be based 75% off of winning and 25% on personal performance
I think the ranking system is fine in halo 5. Thats why if i want individual rank i do free for all. thats why i hate the team playlists in halo 5 because you actually have to have a team. you simply cant just get away with victories as much with a random group of people like you could in other halos. They should bring back more individual playlists. How bout maybe a 1v1 playlist?
