How does this work?
i haven’t ranked yet just people I’ve asked.
people who were champ lvl are getting placed diamond now. Winning all 10 matches and have a 6.0 on that playlist (playing with a team)
and then you have people who are solo queuing who have 3/10 wins and get champ?
Of course I wouldn’t assume this is the case for everyone I just think it’s weird? Any input?
I can’t say I can give any input as I am not sure how it works.
But there’s got to be a logical reason. Maybe it goes off performance now instead of w/l
Not sure how it works really. I only rank FFA. I placed diamond this season. That is what I ranked the last time I ranked. Granted that HWC but still seems to be ranking the same for me. But they say they are ranking by your hidden rank, you MMO or something.
Where do I begin…
The ONE difference I have observed, as of playing a few dozen games, on a few different accounts, is this: Lower ranks (SR not CSR) are qualifying higher than higher ranks. This is probably because the same poor algorithm used to determine teammates in all previous iterations of “True Skill” is implemented - which is problematic - players are being grouped by how they performed and not how their OPPONENTS will perform. I’m lvl 151 but my patience is waning.
