NEW Ranking system theory

In some of the multiplayer footage released, we see a new gametype being tested, the player gains +5 points for what seems to be a headshot kill, and +5 points for a Halo: Reach assist medal. Note: The assist medal could a place holder for a medal that’s not yet coded properly or something of this nature. The score is going up by 10 after the kill, this could be a new form of skill rating like the Arena ranking system in Halo: Reach, but with differences, instead of your base rating being 1000, it could start at 0 and fluctuate up or down with kills, assists, multikills, special medals, sprees, deaths, etc.

Now, what my theory is based on, is your overall score at the end of the match will give you EXP, EXP inturn increases Rank, average score per match, etc.

Note: I pulled this out of my -Yoink- to try and amuse you all with rediculous theory
Oh god, I hope I hit the nail on the head.

Rather have 1-50 not some bogus crap, no offense.

Would rather not have a game full of 15 year olds “Boosting” 50s because they don’t have a job and can’t afford MSP because their parents stopped giving them their allowance.

Agreed, they just need to make it so people cannot boost. 1-50 was great except for the cheaters which ruined it. Many have offered solutions to fix it and bungie didnt listen. 343 can easily make a system that dissuades people from cheating and when they learn how to cheat, just correct the problem.

I don’t like that idea, sorry :\

Would much prefer the Halo 2 rank system
