OK like the other 90% of people i LOVED the 1-50 ranking system. So the real question is, is there any chance they will put the 1-50 ranking system in to reach?? Like have a an update or something, because i would bet half of old halo gamers would go back to reach is this happened.
What do you guys think about this idea?
It won’t happen. Ever. Even if it were physically possible for 343 to do, they’re not going to waste anymore time than they have to on Reach. They’ll spend as much time as they need to for people to know they’re listening, which IMO they’ve already done. The reward is not worth the means when it comes to implementing the code for a ranking system (assuming it is even possible).
The best we will get for Reach is more Arena playlists, which IMO would be wonderful, but we don’t even know if that is a possibility.

How great would it be if they applied Arena ranking to every playlist? Is that even possible?

Well maybe not every playlist. But at least similar to how H3 had it’s ranked vs social.
Although, I think that they would have it they could. But then there has also been the rumor that 343 asked MLG if they wanted Arena rankings and MLG was still undecided. Honestly I think Arena ranks could really help bring this game back to life. I doubt it will happen, but I also swore left and right that 343 would never issue a TU.

Arena ranking would help any playlist its added to, however, for every one that is added will detract from the current Arena.
With the advent of Arena ranking in MLG and TS it would make the current Arena almost completely irrelevent, Im not sure 343 is heading in that direction. I forsee potential new maps like they did for LD and that should do alot for that playlist, even I would show up for some new maps.
