The radar is awful and is now useless, spend time looking at it and when you see a red dot by the time you look up to shoot your already dead, the game feels a lot like call of duty or something now where whoever sees who first gets the kill, slayer has literally been ruined, well done 343, war zone is great however

Nah man competitive doesn’t have radar anyway so having this tiny bit of radar that we do is a good hybrid
I wouldn’t say slayer is ruined however it is definitely a problem that could be fixed, you just need to rely more on visual and sound to assist you in knowing where the enemy will be now.
You’re over-reacting. Slayer plays perfectly fine with the reduced radar, it’s just more akin to a Slayer Pro now than before.
Once I learned that walking normally doesn’t show you on the radar, I’ve literally never looked at it again.
How people find it distracting escapes me, but that seems to be the case around here. Considering how rarely I sprint, I like the new radar. If this was Halo 4 I would have had Venator armor in no time.
