New Proposal for Air

This is going to be short as sweet and hopefully is something both camps can get behind.

Nerf core air damage against buildings about 5% or so.
I wont disagree that having someone run behind you and only attack a base is very annoying. I personally don’t think its broken, but I wouldn’t mind seeing it less.

Buff core air damage against vehicles about 5% or so
Level with me that Air does not beat core vehicles in a direct fight even if there was the slightest amount of AA. I think this significantly harms the diversity that you can see in armies during engagements.

With both of these (AND NO AA BUFF AS PROPOSED BY THE PATCH), could we see air more viable in an army and less of the hit and run stuff that everyone has been voicing their concerns over. Thoughts?

I like it. I think it’s a good compromise and will hopefully help air counter-act the up and coming t3 vehicles.

I don’t want to change the Vulture either. If anything, I would like to see the primary weapons do more damage to units since everyone thinks of it right now as the transport vehicle for the phoenix missile.

I also would love to see blisterbacks more in the role of heavy air with higher In air DPS to everything.

But both of those are issues for later.

Doesn’t the patch come out tomorrow? I don’t think they will be taking anything off/adding anything for this patch at least.

I’m surprised because of the cost Vultures don’t do good normal damage without the Nuk- I mean Phoenix Missile. They cost 900. Honestly do Vultures gain veterancy?

They do, I have seen it, but it is REALLY REALLY slow.

This easily seems like the best of both worlds for anyone on either side of this.

Uhm, wouldn’t you be making non T3 vehicles unaviable instead of air? AV and heavies got buffed against them and your air buff by exent would affect negativley AA, little would matter the 5% nerf to bases if AA starts to underperform.

For now, I’ll just stick with the AOE buff and see how it plays.
