Ok so with these new armors and weapon skins and so on, this issue I found out just recently though. On the map Vertigo I was chasing down an enemy and did an amazing assassination but whenever I saved it and went to view it my whole armor was replaced with the default and scout helmet. Thing is I run FULL ODST armor since it’s my favorite.
Anyone else found this out? And had 343i been addressed about this?
Hmmm I haven’t seen 343i address this but I’m sure it’s just a glitch and will be patched with a future update. If this is an actual issue for everyone, good find and I’m sure 343 will find it.

Even though what I said isn’t what you wanted to hear, that actually was on topic, and as hard as it is to believe, it wasn’t a troll either.
This is a public forum and even though it isn’t a widely held opinion, I was merely stating my opinion on the matter.

The reason is because people would like to use certain armor to make them look different from others, Im sure alot of people wouldnt want to look the same as everyone else.
where can i find the bug and glitches part of the forums?

An idea does not have any rights to not be criticized or laughed at. An idea does not automatically command respect. If it can withstand criticism then it will have earned respect.
I personally don’t see this glitch as an issue worth fixing in the immediate present. There are countless issues still needing fixing in the game that actually effect gameplay. Something cosmetic like this should be put at the bottom of the list of things to get fixed.

I guess thats the difference between you and me. When I play halo, I don’t even pay attention to people’s armor. I’m more focused on how to beat them at the game.

Going to agree with the fact that a glitch or bug like this shouldn’t be a huge concern to 343i with the gameplay concerns or population concerns that should be focused on as of recently.
But it is a good thing to tell a developer something ‘weird’ has happened but please do tell something that could be more of a huge issue that is spread amongst plenty of players. (Such as that apparent Soldier armour glitch and SR-1 stuff). But hey we shouldn’t get mad at each other.

So what’s the point of being able to customize your avatars in this game and any other game? Should every player look perfectly identical to each other and just go shooting around the multiplayer maps?
Well then, yes, thats our own differences, then again you shouldn’t go about criticizing others on whether they like using different armor or not. Instead approach the matter in a more mature fashion, than your immature ways.
Anyways, I think I found the way to fix it but the thing is you might need to start filming before the match begins that way it catches everything. I tried a few films about a few minutes in and got the same results but whenever I saved the film at the beginning of the match it appeared that it saved it with my ODST armor and not the Scout helmet and default armor. I will run a few more tests to verify this and even is if it affects screenshots.
So stay tuned guys.
Yep found how to fix it, you have to start recording the film before the match actually starts, like when the timer starts, start recording. I just did it and watched it through and it saved my ODST armor all the way through. So with the new armor not actually being on the disc, I can see why it did what it did but there you go guys. It might take alittle but thats the way to do it until 343i fixes it.
(Note: Yes I understand that there are more problematic issues in Halo 4 but overall I thought I would post the issue regardless, because well I care for the series and like seeing that issues are getting addressed, thanks to those for the supported responses)
