I think new ones are needed along with Overshield and Active Camo. Armor Abilities were eh, pickups were kind of annoying in H3 to be honest, but still fun. Now, I think there needs to be something different for Halo. I was thinking the kind of powerups with Armor Abilities, but not as an AA, or a Loadout or perk so to say, but as a pickup.
For example, a jetpack on the map that you can pick up, respawns, and can run out of fuel, but lasts much longer, and allows you to fly higher. Or a Hologram that eventually runs out when used, and can be toggled to appear and disappear, and that is much more useful by being able to do more than just run straight, like actually shooting the enemy and not flickering. Again this would be something you could pick up on the map and respawn later. Also, bubbleshields as a pickup making a return more like they were in Halo 3, and not able to take damage, and lastly, something like adrenaline boost or something that makes the player more agile with faster moving speed, jumping higher, and faster, more powerful melee.
And there would be like 3 places for them to spawn on each map depending on the size/layout, i.e. 1 jetpack, 1 bubbleshield, and 1 adrenaline boost each in different locations that can be picked up, and then respawn after 150s or so.
These could be used in conjunction with the original powerups too: OS, AC, and CP.

Maybe? Well, what are your doubts, or what would you prefer?
I’d like if by default you had Sprint as your AA, and the others were pickups sprinkled liberally in the place of the traditional powerups like AC & OS.
But everything should be an available spawn AA in custom games or in special matchmaking.

I liked sprint, but it got annoying, such as people running away when they get shot, and that could get abused quite a bit, maybe separate playlists. And I don’t want to replace the traditional powerups, I think they should stay.
