I wanted to make a playlist that eliminates alot of the problems and complaints in other gametypes, while also making it feel more classic without overly changing setting.(Without a TU its impossible to replicate Classic, without unbalancing game mechanics) So without any further interuption!
Team Pure - 4v4 (name not final)
Both Slayer and Objective gametypes. heavier on Slayer then Objectives!
Sprint only AA
Melee : 75%
Jump Height: 110%
For starters the DMR and Assalt Rifle seem to balance one another out more then any other weapon in reach!
Armor Abilities are a great addition to Halo, but are heavly flawed. Armor Lock, Drop Shield, and Active Camo break gameplay to easily, and slow down gameplay. Jetpack is a decently balanced AA but can break alot of maps! Hologram is already very unpopular, and Evade is to close to Sprint while also have a big advantage over it!
75% melee is there to remove the double melee tactic, which is mostly attached to sprint!
Jump height is 110% for 2 reasons! First its to make grenades less effective, its not a huge differnce but it’s a better one the used currently!Second its to promote trick jumping, for better map flow! Its something thats been in all Halo games, but since the introduction of Jetpack and the lower jump height implemented in Reach, almost no one still uses this as a tactic!
As for maps i feel the best selection is between what is availible for both Arena and Classic playlists(but not Classic maps in Halo CEA)
