New players getting Venator, Legendary armor, etc

This is bothering me. I went to a public lobby, saw two people wearing venator at level 8. I was playing with my friend who is a level 7, and HE got Venator. HOW?! That isn’t fair at all! I’ve been playing since launch and I have been waiting for too long to get Venator, and never got it!

Probably the Greatest hits pack. I got venator on my secondary account which is a lv 15.

Who cares?

I have all the armor. Why does it matter if a level 7 gets venator after the game has been out for a year?

Glad you made the post OP. Hopefully Halo 6 doesn’t have 1,000 things to unlock randomly in req packs, with no way to focus on one thing. Random reqs suck.

I have everything and I agree, the grind was stupid.

Well I mean it is POSSIBLE that a lvl 1 could have all the armor unlocked if they had a large enough wallet.

In theory, yes. In practice? It may not be the smartest spending of your dough.

Some do have luck with the lottery. I did actually get Phaeton Cert pretty early which is amazing.

I don’t really care about armors in Halo 5.

Same. I hope the next game has unlocks like we had in Halo 3, and Reach. So achievement based for some and the rest we buy with REQ points like we did with credits from Reach. I didn’t add Halo 4 because the commendation based ones didn’t sit well with a lot of people, myself included.

Having to do your own commendations was at least a lot better than having to rely on 99 other random people to do commendations to get Achilles like in this game.

Yeah, Achilles kinda sucks in that way. It honestly isn’t worth it I think, the armor just looks bad and no self respecting Spartan would wear it in universe… I believe at least.

I remember when getting armor like Venator was objective based. “Back in my day…”. Random reqs for all armor kinda takes the fun out of achieving goals. It’s irrelevant now, but I feel where you are coming from.

Some people have done it though. And as much as I would never spend my own money in that way, I’m not one to judge other people and their spending habits though, it’s their money to spend (or waste) on whatever they’d like.
