Sorry but theres no elites. There was a massive mega-thread about this. Just think of halo 4 as a reboot in a way, there trying to get halo 4 right then maybe we might see them again in halo 5,6.

Spartan OPS is focused only on spartan 4’s, and not any sort of alien. Stop trying to fill your head with lies, you wont be able to play as anything other than a Spartan.

You wont be able to play as a grunt, jackal, elite, hunter, forerunner,er or anything else. You will only be able to play as a HUMAN. Do you understand that?

I’d say there is a chance, but a really small one. 5-10%. We don’t know anything about Campaign. As much as we know, there could be some missions in the Campaign where we play as a different character like in Halo 2. But like I already said, the chances are really small. One can hope, but I don’t recommend anyone to hope as it will most likely lead to disappointment.

Well if this is true then this is indeed a sad day in Halo history.

I feel for the elite players but I can understand there reasoning behind removing them from matchmaking as an open option for every playlist but if in some way shape or form were not able to play as say a Forerunner, precursor or covenant in forge or customs then that will disappoint me quite a bit seeing as it’s a sci-fi game…

Actually, David Ellis confirmed on Twitter that we’d only be playing as Spartans in Halo 4, at least in multiplayer (that includes Custom Games). I doubt we’d be playing as them in Campaign and Spartan Ops to be honest.

I think at a Halo 4 panel at Halo Fest, someone said “The Arbiter will play a role”.

And I thought the Chief was on his own with a rampant AI
