No. Halo 3’s sword fights were annoying. It would go on forever and someone would either win due to latency or because a third person threw a grenade between them (something I am most certainly guilty of).

Melee should be block for Energy Swords. Not for Gravity Hammers because it’s just a stick.
I loved the Halo 3 sword duel system, it was much fun for customs. I was teh sad when they removed it in Reach.

Wrong. To effectively use the sword, you had to switch between your quick melees and lunges, and eventually catch your opponent off-guard. It was a battle of wits, and I loved it.
Bring it back please!
Yes definatly, except they should add in a parry as well. So we could have have more intricacies in the battle.
Think of it this way.
Quick tap the melee button beats a lunge
Parry beats a quick tap melee
lunge beats a parry

I agree with you on this. Halo 3 swords were brilliant.
id actually like to see when 2 swords clash together u have the option to frequncy fight whoever wins knocks the other one down not killed

stupid but realistic, you should only die if someone out swords you, and 343 can change it so it becomes possible, they could make better and cooler sword combos to make it more realistic, like a proper sword battle.
