thoughts. i personally think it looks cool but not very halo.
I really see little design change in it. It looks almost the same from Halo 3 to reach to Halo 4.

I think it looks the same.
Looks cool, but definitely seems less about carrying people to places and more about flying around blowing -Yoink- up.

The actual design of it looks a lot more refined compared to the Halo 3 version.

I lol’d, and that’s exactly what I was thinking
Looks okay to me.
I like it, and I’m glad to see a new design for it.
It’s the same (appart from the two new turrets on the side) exept for the cockpit, as you can see there are two bumps in the window, where it used to be flat.
I think it looks russian in short instead of a more American design

Um…what on earth did I just read?
For whatever reason the new cockpit reminds me of insect eyes.

I hope to God they aren’t like in Halo 3 or Reach. In Halo 2, they were decent, staying out of the way and not blowing anything up.
In Halo 3, on Sierra 117, it was haxed. Could fire at enemies right behind it and it fired at enemies without even thinking twice about the Spartan II standing right next to them. Needless to say, my fun was cut short because of that -Yoink-.
In Reach, once again, they proved to be kill stealers and indiscriminate slaughterers (whenever I attempted assassination). At least this time, I could blow the stupid turret off.
The Halo 4 Pelican should be reasonably accurate and be reserved about firing. I am not convinced when a Pelican can maintain such accuracy over long distances. They should be considerably less accurate. When I was betraying troopers, I had to flee a great distance to not get fired upon (it was on LNoS and I was doing it so I could receive fresh troopers since the current ones were badly injured/mostly dead).
It looks similar to the halo wars pelican:

They are just changing things for no reason.
I don’t like it.

It is reminiscent of the Hind series of choppers, the bulbous front windows are quite iconic tot he old soviet era gunships.

Go to 7:41.
Also: Be aware of this easter egg.

Well…we are a few years further in the timeline, and just like in real life: designs change.
Besides: the new Pelican barely is different from the old one…the “change for the sake of change” argument really doesn’t hold up here.

Is it drive-able?

Yeah, because hardware/vehicle appearances never change over the years, right? RIGHT?
