My xbox is set to download updates when turned off, and during last night we got the new patch while the xbox was turned off. Today when I started the console and got to the dashboard the game has “Updating… 100%” on it, and has been like that for a few hours now. I have so far tried restarting my xbox and turning it off and then cutting its power, and then replugging it and starting up again. Neither has changed the situation in anyway.
I’m also having this same situation but have you tried pulling out the Ethernet cord from the xbox and did it work for you because that is the last thing I can think of solving this. I wonder if anyone else has this problem.

I am using wireless.
Have you fixed the problem yet avenger because it still says 100% for mine, if you have fixed it please tell me.

Mine seemed to have fixed itself while i was gone (xbox was half on). Text changed to “ready to start”.
You could always try hard resetting your console. Hold the power down until it shuts off then pull the power cable from the back of the xbox. Wait 30 seconds, plug the power back in and turn on the system. This usually always fixes most download issues for me… hell it usually fixes most any issues for me… unless it’s actual game bugs, it wont fix that.

Well I made a stupid mistake, before you told me this were it fixed itself I was to impatient and uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. I’m concerned now that all my progress is lost and I don’t know if it will do the latest 11/26 patch while installing or pop up to do it at the main menu, or wont do the update. please reply.
