So there is a new update for H5 on Sept. 8th, do you think there will be a special limited time req pack to be purchased? On the past updates, such as the Memories of Reach, there was a promotional req in respect to the theme of the update, correct? I was unfortunately not playing at the time when those updates, along with those limited time reqs, had released so was not able to get cool reqs from those packs.
Is there limited time packs along with all the updates that came along, or this update may not include one? I may want to save my points if that is the case. What do you guys think?
I’d say yes, if you save up you might snipe the Hunter gun.

Do you know how much a pack was back then to give me an idea for saving points? If this is the case, that is.

Not sure. Personally I have never gotten one, but I have seen posts here on WP with complaints that previous packs have by not included what was advertised.

Wow, didn’t know that… haha well maybe I’ll just give it a go if they do release another limites time pack.

Haha yeah, but its all good. I’m pretty busy and don’t play often, anyway.
The limited time packs in Halo 5 are generally 80,000 points or $10 USD. I think I have a feeling the MoR pack was 120,000 points though. I’m pretty sure the MoR pack was more because of the hype behind Reach themed reqs, a lot of people wanted that wrath armour. Personally would recommend just sticking to silvers then golds, you get a lot more bang for your buck and it will get your collection done eventually. The way previous packs have operated is they have a select prize pool from the themed reqs, so only the anvils legacy reqs will be available. But you will still have a higher chance of getting the uncommon, rare reqs first. So you could spend the 80,000 and get two new uncommon weapon skins. Not necessarily two hunter guns. Spend wisely.

I think it was about weapon skins or something, Noble related? I can’t remember but basically people bought them and for some, they got “standard” weapon skins from outside the pack, wasting their money/points.

I supposed that’s true as someone posted here that it’s not guaranteed. Thanks for the advice, I’ll just keep at the Silvers then.

That is really odd to advertise something that you would not get anyway. Yeah I’m just going to stick with silvers.

Yup. I’d stick with silvers too. I’m still waiting to get my base DMR (wish it was level 5 REQ…) from silver packs.
