This is pure speculation. So I’m assuming at least most of you have probably heard that leak that Halo Infinite might be just story and that the multiplayer will release separately later. And I started thinking about it and it kind of makes sense in my mind now. 343 wants to get away from the numbered games and they want to do different things with Halo. What if, in an attempt to close the boring Halo-newsless gaps in between games, 343 is planning to release story and campaign games separately from now on. Story one year, multiplayer next year or the year after that. It kind of makes sense from a business stand point at least in my opinion. There is more of a constant flow of new Halo game news for fans to talk about, 343 doesn’t have to have everything done at once, and they can probably sell the separate games each for $60 
which would get them double the money. It just kind of makes sense to me especially with 343’s want to stray away from numbered games. What do you guys think?

I don’t think the multiplayer and campaign will be released seperately. Most rumours are just speculation, we can only wait until more news is released, nothing but the existence of the game, its title and that Chief will be in has been confirmed.
