A lot of halo goodness http://halo4nation.com/

I wish we could watch someone play that isn’t mentally challenged. Thanks for the vids though.

I agree

That Carbine mmm mmm mmm :D.

Definately cool-Shows off just how weak the Hard Light Shield is…

Shows there won’t be any friendly fire in some game variants.

look pt3 video, 1:19

no friendly fire

omg

OMFG That BR is a four shot!

> Definately cool-Shows off just how weak the Hard Light Shield is…

Yup, he used it and still got owned.

I saw the no friendly fire. But why would they do that? Friendly fire is traditional, and I didn’t mind it being off in Infection Reach.

Oh sweet! Thanks! From seeing the footage, it appears that in the 4th video down, watching at 1:41 the BR is a 4 shot. Has a good clean indication that it is because no one on the red team was helping putting shots into the blue player.

Looks so much fun  can’t wait for November.

AWW SWEEEET WEAPONS ON THE FLOOR ARE STILL THERE YES I THOUGH THERE WAS GOING TO BE NONE WHOOO FRIKEN WOOOOO IM BUYIN THIS!!! WITH NO REGRETS NOW IM 110% SURE

Typical IGN.

I swear I have not seen one person there that isn’t a complete idiot. “HURRP DURRP I PLAY VIDYA GAMES LETS RUN INTO WALLS MORE HURRRRRR!!”. And then their genius producer “PUT IT ALL IN 5 VIDEOS. GOOD PLAN. I EDIT GOOD.”

God I hate them. All they needed was a tripod and a good camera with enough memory to capture a 10 minute long game. They somehow managed to -Yoink- that up.

I am sure they just turned it off for E3; nobody would want someone trolling the other players while showcasing possibly the biggest title of the year.

Plus, most likely, they are playing a custom game match, as in they turned friend fire off for this particular demo (and because they know that there are most likely going to be people who has never even played Halo playing the demo, so they turn off FF. I would have done that if I were in control of the demo at E3).

In the 3rd video the guy shot a rocket at his teammate. It was direct impact. He didn’t die.

I hope it isn’t what it seems it is. Taking friendly fire out would be a bad idea IMO. Unless they have a solution for the problems that come after taking it out.

I think the physical vehicle friendly fire is still on though. Meaning you can still hurt a teammate if you bump them. Anyways, I’m over the Friendly fire surprise.

I just want a definite confirmation on the 4 shot or 5 shot BR. I really can’t tell. There are all possibilities of team shooting. People have said that it was 5 shot and worked well. I need a yes or no…

Hm… Five videos, but less than five kills.

Anyone else noticed that friendly fire was off that game? It’s either that or the Rocket Launcher has been dramatically nerfed.

I don’t get it. Why would taking friendly out be such a bad thing? No more getting booted from a complete accident, no more of -Yoinks!- trying to betray you for a power weapon, no more teammates just committing suicide to bring the score down, etc.

Why would taking friendly fire out be such a bad thing? Don’t give me the reason, “because it’s traditional in all Halo games!!!” I know it is, but if they actually find a way to increase everyone’s enjoyment, I’m all for it.

> I saw the no friendly fire. But why would they do that? Friendly fire is traditional, and I didn’t mind it being off in Infection Reach.

The friendly fire system is heavily abused. The people complaining about FF being turned off have one-sided minds. Think about it…no noobs/little kids teamkilling you so they can steal your power weapon, no teamkilling derankers, none of the people that constantly take down your shields so you can’t defend yourself from the enemy, etc.

And don’t give me that"BUT ITS TRADITIONAL IN HALO HERP DERP" crap. The heavily abused betrayal system and the flawed boot system have always been game-breaking mechanics.
