Im so glad im reading Primordium now, Im planning on finishing it hopefully soon.
When I first heard it was called Silentenium, Frankie said the name may be placeholder. I see they went with that name and Im curious why.
I wonder who or what the “Ur-Didact” is. Is that a typo or a hint to something?

I’m not sure. Maybe just referencing how it’s Bornstellar, not the original Didact, but I can only guess.

I just looked up “Ur”. Among other uses, Ur is a german prefix that means “original or primative”. Could this mean the original Didact is alive and well?

Well, you can clearly see the Cryptum from the E3 demo under some Forerunner structure, and some ships from other concept art pieces flying around it.
Well, if that means the original Didact is okay, and Mr. Bear told us there are two Didacts, I wonder how these two feel about eachother. And more importantly how confused the Librarian must be, having two husbands and all.
Is Greg doing any other Halo books after this ?

Personally-I find the cover to be very off-putting. It just seems to be too dark to me-The details of the cover cannot be noticed over the permeating darkness. I wish they had a lighter shading but it’s the cover and that’s it.

Good spot. At first I thought it was part of the structure, but you can see some of the orange lines glowing on it.
Also, the cover appears to be requiem. Or, well, it certainly could be…big spires coming out of the ceiling.
I wonder which didact is doing what…
I agree that the cover looks dark and bland.
