Let me begin by saying OH MY GOD. It is incredible. Kept me captivated the entire time. As a musician, I am intrigued. The song was perfectly paced all the way through. As I sat and listened, I came across the nearing end of the song, and I thought to myself, “The only thing that could make the ending of the song better is if a spooky distorted piano/electronic part kicked in.” Guess what happened. It kicked in. I can’t explain how excited I am for this new soundtrack. It does everything Halo ever did right, and progresses. P.S. THOSE DRUMS!!!
DAT DRUM BEAT
is that not great?! There were very organic drums in the background just playing the rolls and fills, then there was this massive, gritty, nasty snare drum on top that played the -Yoink- out of a powerful beat.

it just reminds me of master chief, and that he is a Spartan…the other games barely mentioned the fact that Spartans are WALKING TANKS, this beat brings more power, more heroism, more bad -Yoink–ary to master chief. I’m really excited for more of the score.
It was very good, i think 343 made a good choice with this new guy. i think they should bring back the guitar though i miss it from halo 2
ps i really liked the drums
someone can give me link evrytime i try louding on the hom page of waypoint i cant.
I needed a visual, so I watched the halo 3 legendary ending starting from the part where the camera zooms in to “117.” oh my god, too much epicness to handle. some of the beats match up perfectly
They could not have done a better job for this piece of music I love the direction of a movie quality setting they are putting into halo. It’s like how I have always felt about halo in my life and now they’re giving it to me in halo 4. The Music! The more in-depth story about Master Chief. Almost makes me cry thinking about it. You’re doing a great job 343 a very great job.
I could just imagine the emotions that went along with it.I have not seen one person complain about the music, but everyone complains about anything to do with gameplay and isn’t worded properly. Words can be misinterpreted, but music is a universal language everyone can understand.

Whos to say we wont get guitar?
I’d say that if he was using guitar amps for their different tones that there is a chance that guitars could appear.
nvm heard it ty lol
edit:OH it was awesome, really.aawesome
I liked the music. I think the old music was better but I understand it probably wouldn’t fit very well into this new atmosphere.
Who thinks Halo needs one freaky song that has blast beats??? ME.
It’s pretty good but until I hear the whole thing and the Halo theme(used in the warthog races at the end of the game for CE and Halo3) or something like it then I am good.
