New Multiplayer Mode Called War Mode!!

Halo Infinite needs a mode where every vehicle in every past halo game with like 50 people or more not battle royal I’m not a fan of battle royal games at all because you get 1 life I don’t like that if there know warzone they should replace it with vehicles and weapons all around the map no ref packs big scale map twice as large as warzone maps make it where it feels like it’s a war going on maybe spartens versus elites go to a score of 2 thousand make one map a city make it feel like halo in multiplayer
bring in bigger air vehicles like the pelican!!:smiley:

This isn’t your everyday average BTB… This is BTB times 1000. Still, cool idea. Maybe we could also have some large-scale destruction in there.

Id love to see a larger scale, open warfare gametype. I think some the issues of Warzone were less reliance on vehicles, due to the sprint function, and still relatively small maps compared to player count. If the maps were larger had flanking routes for foot soldiers, and open areas for vehicular combat, it wouldve been amazing. When I think of a Halo ground war/warzone, I think something more akin to Battlefield 4 in terms of map size. Id love so see something shooting for that scale. Or at the very least, double the size of the Warzone maps to emphasize vehicle use. You could bring in Longswords, Broadsword, Seraphs, and make the Phaeton more of a fighter than just a high flying tank.

I also think maps need some dynamic alterations that open up more areas, and close off other areas during gameplay. Like maybe during one match, a space elevator, towering in the distance, collapses and sends debris raining down on the map, destroying a base and thus a new one is established elsewhere to compensate.
Halo 2 toyed with this concept with the destructible stalactites, and the droppable Bridge on Zanzibar.
Maybe have time of day changes just to change up the mood of the maps during gameplay.

Anyways, these are just some thoughts I had.

Yes like big team battle but a lot bigger but make called War Mode. Make it feel like what’s happening in the universe in multiplayer you have some destruction have elevators big buildings to hide vehicles on each side of the Spartans spans and Elites Spans but also have vehicles around the map and a top of building!! And make the maps of places of the war around the universe and some made up!! Make it feel like there’s a War going on!!

Something like this in Halo Infinite would be sick

I don’t want a Battle Royale in Halo Infinite, but I think they should expand on War Zone. Ditch the cheesy enemy bosses that are bullet sponges and remove loadouts. Make weapon supply caches a thing. A spot at your base for weapons and such. Take things from Halo Reach’s Invasion mode. Playable elites and all. Improve upon it. 24v24 or 30v30 BTB. A large scale battle. That I’m all for. However, a battle royale I’m against.
Here are my reasons.
*Halo has a large variety of game modes, each attracting different players. A battle royale might absorb all the support and population of the other modes, thus, core game modes will be playing second fiddle.
*The Battle Royale trend, I believe, is slowly dying out. Something is going to come along and be the next big thing. Look at how games have changed since even last year. Everyone is playing Fall Guys and Among Us. So, once the BR craze dies out, what will Halo Infinite have left? 10 years…for a BR mode…I don’t know about this one Chief.
*343i literally said the only BR they were interested in was Battle Rifle…kinda hope they keep their word.
*Finally, Halo needs to be Halo. Stop copying everyone else and playing by their rules to attract players.Don’t alienize your old players and fans of how Halo is.I’m open to change, and a giant sized BTB would be awesome. Just not a battle royale mode. What ever happened to Halo being the trend setter?

You should look at my 2nd post on this!

I think a larger scaled invasion mode would be neat. Take the old Star Wars BF2 command posts.

How it could work:

  • Each team is like 24 players big with 100 lives shared between. - 5 posts per map, each team starts with 1 on opposite sides (Think the old Kashyyyk map). - Teams start with spawned vehicles and weapon caches along with light AI reinforcements (Marines, Grunts, etc.) that bring team sizes to like 64 each. - Teams gain better weapons and vehicles the more posts they control, losing team gains better AI reinforcements (ODSTs, Hunters, etc.) to give them a chance. - Teams win by either taking all 100 lives from the enemy team or holding all 5 posts for 30 seconds. This is just a basic concept. This would be a large scale mode and make Warzone look like a small firefight.

I’ve always wanted a large scale battlefield/front Halo mode since I was a kid.
They tried it with Dominion ( I miss the turrets), then warzone, hopefully we can have something where we can use every asset from past games and lore and the scale would allow such things due to the potential encounter locations. close quarters UNSC bases and tunnels, mid- range forerunner ruins, large open spaces Covenant wreckage. In the real world there are tons of different vehicles and weapons so this mode can bring more stuff we’ve seen in the EU and concept art.
I’ve always been an advocate for a mode where armor types/gens have classes/ loadouts made for their intended functions and perform as so. Stealthy armor is lighter but maybe it comes with jammers and limited active camo. Heavy armors allow for limited movement options (no thrusters, jetpack, built in sprint) but have heavy armor and can hold more/ heavier equipment.
Halo Infinite can hopefully bring this dream to fruition, and really help expand players replayability, with arena, firefight, btb, and new large scale warmode.
