Anyone remember this picture that was released during E3? Well, the helmet is indeed usable in multiplayer according to the new footage.

It looks like the ODST helmet at first glance, but I checked to be sure that they are different, and they are. Also, if I see any more new armor I will update this thread, so check back every once in a while.

You may have found a bigger hit than you thought OP.
During the video you can see during the BR or Magnum gameplay a rather unique looking AA Icon. The Icon looked just like this helmet but the visor was blue. Later you see another Icon that looks more like the Mark IV helmet (or whatever it was from Halo 2) with the same blue visor.
If my theory is correct then both AA’s where Promethean vision and the Icon changes based on the helmet you’re using.

That makes sense. Would be a pretty cool feature.
Also, we can change our armor skin colors, just in case that wasn’t confirmed already.
Look at the bulletin vid where the magnum comes in, the yellow spartan has a new helmet that looks a lot like the JFO helmet.

Perhaps, but im not going to over speculate on PV. That AA is going to be thrown away after 2 months anyways.

Maybe I’m just more observant than everyone else, but I never thought it looked anything like an ODST helmet. In fact I thought it was entirely obvious it didn’t. There’s no classic curvature.

I wish they would show the FOTUS armor so i don’t have to be skeptical if i’m going to be able to wear certain armor

Looks nothing like JFO to me. It has the curved visor like ODST.
That’s nice and all, but I’ll probably just stick to the ODST helmet.

I love you so much right now. I completely missed the ODST helmet. I originally followed on the speculation that the 2 guys beside Chief were wearing it and almost wanted to lecture 343i lol… but seeing this… good job 343i! The ODST helmet looks a bit “off” but it’ll grow on me, I know it!
