I was a fan of the motion comics of The Mona Lisa, Headhunters, The Return, and Midnight in the Heart of Midlothian when they first came out a while ago and even The Fall of Reach animated series even tho it was more like the motion comics then really animated which was a criticism I saw a lot along with it not showing the fall of Reach.
*Side note was there a lot of criticism of the motion comics about the graphics like there was for Fall of Reach?
Anyways it was nice to see a visual representation of these comics done by ONE and MoreFrames,it’s always been my hope that they would release these on a Blu Ray or DVD to add to my Halo collection but to no avail. But if you had a choice for 343i to make a motion comic of one of the short stories in Evolution our the recent novellas which one would you pick and why?
For me it would be hard to choose but I think I would pick Saint’s Testimony because of her dream. It was so vivid for her and to see a representation of that dream would be cool to see plus the story is heading towards the Created now with Halo 5 so why not have a AI centric motion comic, we’ve already had UNSC, Flood, Elites, Spartans as main characters so why not an AI center story with Iona ( and yes I know Mo Ye was a main character in Midlothian but the Story didn’t center around her). That or finish The Return since a lot of us would like to know the rest of that story and exactly was found.
I wouldn’t necessarily consider New Blood, Saint’s Testamony, and Shadow of Intent as short stories, so I am going to choose two categories.
Out of the three above I’d like to see New Blood in animated form.
Out of the short stories you’ve mentioned, I’d like to see Blunt Instruments animated. Black team ftw!

I can understand your frustration because I felt that when everyone wanted Fall of Reach as a movie, as a show, as an animated comic, as a game, i was like how many times are we telling the same story over and over again? But it’s easier to develop an animated or motion comic when you got the script already. Going from scratch you need a writer if it’s from 343i then you don’t really need to get it approved since that is already in-house but if it’s someone outside of 343i the script needs to go through some drafts and there probably would be more oversight with an original then with a pre-existing story do the process could be faster because they can start making it now instead of waiting a couple of months for an original story to be written or approved by 343i

Technically your correct they are novellas but if it takes about a hour or so to read then they are a short story for me so included then in this because The Mona Lisa was about the same lengtha s some of these recent novellas.
I wouldn’t mind to see New Blood but they would have to get the original voice actors of ODST or your going to have an uproar of people not liking it because that’s not Buck bc that’s not Nathan Fillion’s voice or Mickey, Romeo etc.
