New mode: Tug of War

A mix between Slayer and Infection. When you kill somebody, they respawn on your team. The first team to collect all players wins.

That sounds like it would be fun.

I like this idea… but it needs to have more rules because everybody wins in the end.
What’s to stop people from getting killed intentionally and then joining a winning team? Everybody could just die and win!

I really like this idea. But definitely needs tweeking. I was thinking that perhaps only the original team members would get the win but then once I die and go to the other team I wouldn’t want to help them out.

Yeah, there are problems to be ironed out. The OP was initially a massive wall of text detailing all the possible options, but I thought that would be best left to discussion.

Obviously the scoring couldn’t be based on teams like conventional Slayer. Maybe it could be the same as Lone Wolf, with the team-swapping simply serving as a new dynamic. Or players could be ranked according to how many kills they got for the winning team, so if you deliberately killed yourself once one team was emerging as dominant, you’d be towards the bottom of the scoreboard. Or maybe these possibilities and more could all be part of the custom game options. I just think it would be a neat idea to play around with.

I think this would be a gametype in the Eternal Slayer Gamemode.
