In the short multiplayer reveal they did, Jeff announces something when the orange Spartan gets a kill with the energy-looking weapon.
It sounds like ‘Bank Shot’ to me, do we think this is going to be for killing someone who isn’t in line of sight with a banked shot? If so, do we think a banked shot be for a shot which was fired whilst the target is out of line of sight, or for specifically using a projectile that bends?

It could be a medal specifically for that weapon, which btw looks incredibly fun to use. Or maybe it could be that guns now have bullets that can ricochet off surfaces and still do damage? I know the sniper rifle in previous Halo games could have its bullet bounce off surfaces and still be able to kill. This medal could also work for that as well.
It’s probably from a ricochet.
It’s Unyshek’s idea. It was the first suggestion in the thread at the top of the page. New medal suggestions.
It’s definitely a ricochet medal. Seems the tracking on the scattershot’s bigger brother makes it quite easy. Quite curious if there are other weapons that take the ricochet mechanic into account, Skewer perhaps

Sniper is a good example, it could also apply to any bullet that bounces off a Repulsor and hits someone else.

Absolutely, soon as I saw the thread I remembered seeing Unyshek’s post. Sniper is a possibility.
