Please oh please Change the chest piece to a more original Mark V Armor. It should look more the the Reach version which is taking almost exactly from original concept art. I Think the Reach version actually looks more like the original from the game this this one. I’m one of the big Halo fans and I really, really hate the new chest piece. Everything else is ok in my eyes but the chest throws it off way to much in my opinion.
After all, most likely Noble team wasn’t given the same MJOLNIR Mark V model but a preliminar one, so I think both Reach’s and Anniversary’s looks are canon.
I’m happy with it, don’t really like the lights, but the way I see it, 343 has done a great job on it and looks a lot like the original, a lot better than what Bungie has done with the Mark V helmet and other permutations from Halo 3/Reach, they don’t even have the same proportions as the originals.
343 hasn’t half - Yoink!ed it. The helmet actually looks exactly the same as the original, something Bungie was incapable of for some odd reason.
I am really liking master chief’s look his body armor looks amazing the paint job is just incredible I swear Halo’s graphics improves every generation but I’m not too sure on his visor and the bottom half of his helmet it seems to bulge at the bottom. But it still looks amazing not a big problem and again I’m really loving his paint job and his general body armor.
And I wouldn’t really consider the Reach Mk V to be “true” Mk V. It seems more like a system designed for easy instalation of parts, armor pieces just seem to be slapped on rather than being fully part of the armor as a whole.
Look at the original concept art for the Mark V, then compare it withe the original, then compare it to Reach. Reach looks the most like the bad -Yoink!- concept art from 10+ years ago.
> Looks pretty dang good to me.
