Add more mapslike snow maps and maybe bring back maps from halo wars 1 because the new maps get boring to me and a few of my friends after like 3 battles on the
Bloon gulch

Apparently any new maps would insult the champ players and if you post anything they disagree with, then corrupted mods such as “Meds” will pass out a ban. I feel the same way as you, but our opinions do not matter.
Pretty sure the only updates for HW2 now are small balance patches and matchmaking changes. Have to hope for HW3 for new maps.

What the duck? Nobody has an issue with wanting new maps, unless they’re trolling. The reason we won’t be getting any new maps is because there are a total of two people working on Halo Wars 2 now, and anything more than small balance changes is far from easy.

Not sure. I wouldn’t bet the farm on it. How long are the lifetimes of RTS anyways? Feels like the days of HW2 are limited tbh. Would be nice if they posted raw numbers of people playing game types on the matchmaking menus.

Most rts games last several years without a problem. Look at Red Alert; it is still well loved, so much so that EA is remaking it.
Same with StarCraft 2, game is old and still hugely popular.
I don’t expect Halo Wars 2 to “die” until we get a Halo Wars 3 or a new Rts hits the market and just blows everyone out of the water.

It’s possible that he plays against the AI or only does custom games. Those don’t appear on your service record.

That’s because Fissures is an absolutely terrible map in 3v3. It leaves one player on each team totally exposed to the enemy, where it becomes 2 against 1 for both sides, then becomes 2 against 2 with two people sad because the map screwed them.

Don’t forget the original halo wars. Had a semi-small community all the way until halo wars 2.
Postums and wrensi are the only people left working on hw2. I doubt they can make new maps by themselves, unless we convince 343 to triple their salary.
I want you to remake the map of the original HW
