Halo 5s maps are just so bad and generic. They are not fun to play on at all. The worse of the maps belong to my favorite game mode and the one that’s been shown no love, BTB. Would It really be to much to ask to have maps added from people who know how to make good halo maps and remakes like these.
Wow. Those are some amazing remakes. Really love the Sandtrap one, it looks identical almost. Ahhh, Terminal is such a classic too. Would love to see an original remake of it.

They are just reskins of maps already in the game… but at least riptide is a bit different than fathom. I loved the map variety of halo 3, 4, and Reach. and since 343i made halo 4, why cant they make more maps just as easily?
I like the Valhalla remake, but I hope they fix the aesthetics of the open water in the back of the one base. It just cuts off and you can see the shape of the glass he used. Besides that, please put this in BTB. Although a dev version would be best.

In general i really like the maps and deadlock is one of my favs in BTB.
Everyone seems to state overgrowth and riptide as their least favs but these were made to prove a different playing experience with tight corridors etc but each to their own.
they need to bring back orion, and add community forge maps to arena and BTB. we need variety. i know some people hate some of the maps but dear god do not remove any more maps. this game needs variety badly.
btb maps are all forged anyway, why not add more forge BTB maps right away!? we saw it worked well for breakout, but no one cares about breakout.
You accuse the new maps of being generic and dull… And then you suggest Sandtrap and Valhalla remakes to satiate our senses???
I am looking forward to Terminal’s remake because it can use both classic and new gameplay WITH vehicles.
Sandtrap and Valhalla are just simple, OPEN, maps, that allow for more vehicular hi-jinx than the current maps allow for. These 2 aren’t exactly known for complexity of gameplay!
I played an Ice Fields remake that worked beautifully. It played better than the original because it was just too big of a map for Halo CE. Halo 5 mobility makes map traversal less of a chore.

The game has the best selection of maps since the original trilogy, by far… You can’t tell me that maps like The Rig, Plaza, Truth, Fathom, and Coliseum are worse than Sword Base, Powerhouse, Adrift, Complex, etc.
I’d go as far as to say that The Rig was an instant-classic Halo map, the day it came out. Very well designed.
