Yes and no. I want more maps and content just like everyone else but the netcode for me is a top priority.

Net code is definitely top priority. All the maps in the world are worthless if theyre unplayable

How do you know they won’t fix desync in s2?

Yep. There has already been some incremental improvement with their recent updates.

And hopefully they have a better idea now what is the problem - with a couple of months of telemetry under their belts.

Finger’s crossed S2 brings some stability. It would be great if they could start shifting their focus more to performance, game balance, cheating, and adding new content.

I’ve noticed some improvements as well. I’m still not gonna get my hopes up to much though. Hopefully when season 2 drops we all get a nice surprise

I’m not excited for anything. The maps we have now are too much of a cluster…

call it a huntch, it takes them forever to do anything

Only 2 maps, still piss poor dsync, and horrible season progression by only challenges… Yeah, until the dsync is gone and the challenge system gone I ain’t coming back to go through that again.

There’s horrible netcode? I get a hiccup maybe once every like, three hundred matches maybe…

Supposedly there should be a wave of bug-fixes in the Season 2 update.

I hope desync is fixed soon lol

Yes! I have had 0 issues with these types of things. More often than not, it’s usually a personal issue on the players’ end.

Thats what i hope for. 343 should have enough telemetry data to improve hit detection, eliminate desync issues and more.
But i dont see what is has to do with Season 2. Net Code improvements should be delivered as soon as they are available.

Not a developer… but I imagine it’s better, with so many changes coming up, to not change much else between then and now. You would have to start the stability tests and reviews all over again.

Overall I think the net-code is pretty good. Usually games from 150ms to 180ms play pretty well. And I’ve even had some 200ms games play very crisply.

I’m excited for the new maps, but as for the Horrible Net Code, I’d rather dig a shallow grave

I noticed that the Net Code improved in the last 3 months. Stopped playing in january because of all the Net Code issues. Gave infinite this week a new chance, played a few social and ranked matches.
Your are right. Net Code got improved, but not that much as i hoped. Still plasma grenade that fly through the enemy. Still some players that sponge head shots.
The quality of the Net Code is better as it was in january. But, in my opinion, it needs to improve a lot more.

High hopes for the S2 update.
