343 has been talking about these new maps for awhile, but the only to they say will be in Winter Update are Argyle and Detachment. But in some of their videos, they’ve shown off more forge maps. Most notably, Eternity, the map set on a white steroid. So are these maps going to be in the Winter Update or are they coming later like the Pit?

Yep. Three. Argyle and Detachment tomorrow. And then the Pit sometime before Xmas.
But there will be a whole heap of Forge maps. Made by the Forge Council, like Eternity, which I assume will be available and promoted in the content browser.
And then we have a heap of stuff from those playing on the leakes. Like from Uneeq.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Eternity and similar maps are available in the Community Browser they just detailed, but not in matchmaking.
That would kind of be a band-aid solution to get us to a custom games browser in S3 at least…

343i since the “world premiere” have said that it wouldn’t be until around Christmas for The Pit to fully make it into matchmaking.
The two new maps that are coming with this launch are incredible and you are going to surely love them! Lot’s of power weapons and lot’s of power ups!
